The more interesting part is that, if enabled, it will eventually cast a very powerful dispel effect on each attack, without limitations on how many effects it can dispell each hit. The lesser effects that it adds a little damage. It is similar to Inquisitor Bane, but far more powerful. There are a few caster ones as well, but the physical ones are the ones I have been focusing on. Important gazes include the one that gives your party a mythic rank based bonus on your chance to hit, another stacking one for hitting attacks of opportunity, another one for damage etc. You get to select one upon level up, and you can eventually keep them running in all fights even though it will be just for important fights early on. Just make sure you can get enough CHA to cast seven level spells with items, and you are good to go in that regard.Īeon Gazes gives your party bonuses, and the enemy penalties in a number of fields. There's also a couple of spells that are interesting, but the casting is equal for all classes. So it is better to have experienced the story as intended first, at least once.Īeon has two very important abilities that comes into play for your character. It is also good that you have played through it once before, since it is fleshed out in a "What-If" kind of way. It is correct that the Aeon story is more fleshed out. I'm closing in on the end of my Aeon run, and I have previously run an Azata. So I was thinking about trying Aeon or Azata, but I heard Aeon is more fleshed out ? If so, what are the archetypes that go well with this Mythic path ? Heard that Sword Saint is pretty fun, but the complexity of building Magus scares me a bit. Now I'm thinking about going for the secret ending on my second and prob last run. I got what I think is the "normal" ending (already failed the very first condition of getting the secret ending on the very first decision waay before knowing there is a secret ending, I took the spell instead of the weapon because why tf woulda want to fight a half god gigante bug that just beheaded a dragon). Actually, I was even expecting her to be very angry when I didn't listen to her based on the hate I saw round here but she was quite okay, I'm surprised. She somehow avoid excusing herself/recognizing anything wrong she coulda done but eh, wasn't expecting less from a holier than thou goddess. Yes, even Iomedae, I don't really get the hate. Played an Oracle Angel of Salvation by the end (I think I tried half a dozen or so archetypes before, woulda tried more but respecting is a pain) and thorougly enjoyed every bit of it.
